I love your detailed timeline of how cataclysmic change altered the United States. I would love to talk to you about whether a more utopian future might be achieved. I have always been inspired by Iain M Banks Culture books, and when I wrote Born of Empire I set it in a future where yes there are weather domes, but first contact has been made and with it an intriguing stipulation. Humans need to choose one person to represent them to the United Races...

That’s a brilliant way of doing the calendar! I remember having to refer to a futuristic calendar for one of my novels. It was a pain!

I find your thought process fascinating. I have never attempted futuristic writing because I don't feel like I know enough about the underlying aspects of what's happening and the actual truth. I guess no one really does, so kudos to you for venturing forth, CB!
