Thanks for the mention! Your continued comments on Darkly always make me want to keep writing! And I think I'd like "Exiled." I've got an Escape from NY/Snake Pussken poster on my wall. I don't think I can post a picture here, but I'll post it on Notes & tag you.
Your hiking adventure sounds like it was the perfect metaphor for tackling challenging stories - steep climbs, switchbacks, and the satisfaction of reaching the summit (even if your knees remind you of the effort later!).
Funny story - today is my sister’s birthday. She turned 36. I was on video call and asked my 7-year-old niece how old her mom was. She said 100, because she complains about her knees LMAO.
I love your analysis of how Shattered aligns with elements of the Hero’s and Heroine’s journey.
And congrats on making it up that mountain!!

I’m just typing up my review for The Exiled — dystopian grit and tense vengeance-driven mystery!
Thanks for the mention! Chapter IV of Mars Fires drops tomorrow - I trust you'll enjoy!
I’m looking forward to it!
Thanks for the mention! Enjoyed your post too :)
Thank!!!
I don’t like beating the cat either. Although now that I’m writing a mystery, I’m having to do some plotting in advance.
Good luck on the plotting!!! Can’t wait to read it.

Thank you for the mention.
You didn't disappoint. You never do.

Have an amazing day ahead, friend.
Metaphors are everywhere, right? Sounds like a family story to remember and retell when your niece turns 36 🤣
the girl has chats 🤣
